About Us

About the UK Brain Council

A unified national platform dedicated to improving brain health for everyone in the United Kingdom.

Who We Are

The UK Brain Council is a unified national platform established to connect researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and communities across the United Kingdom. We are affiliated with the European Brain Council, contributing to a pan-European effort to put brain health at the top of the agenda.

We believe that brain health — encompassing neurological, psychiatric, and mental health conditions — must be understood as a whole-of-society challenge requiring a whole-of-government response. Our work brings together diverse expertise, perspectives, and lived experiences to drive real change in policy, practice, and public awareness.

Our Affiliation

The UK Brain Council is the UK national member of the European Brain Council, which unites patient organisations, medical societies, and researchers across Europe to advocate for better brain health at every level.
